'Peter Rabbit 2': The Runaway Hare

Peter Rabbit 2 is the sequel to Peter Rabbit from 2018 which was based on the children's storybook series surrounding the main character of the same name. Like the previous film in the series, this film contains anthropomorphic rabbits in our universe and their antics. This film continues from where viewers last left off from the events in the first movie. Throughout the film, viewers see a lot of references to the Peter Rabbit children's storybook series. This is because Bea, Thomas's wife, is the author of the children's books portrayed in the film. Many of the events in this film center around publishing the books. In the opening scene, the title character is disappointed to find out that Bea's books portrayed him as "naughty". This shows viewers that you should never judge a book by its cover, as you may not know what the person is really like until you get to know them. Peter Rabbit's main conflict in the sequel is that everyone sees him as a troublemaker because of the way he is portrayed in the media. The billboard advertising the first movie makes him look villainous. So, he becomes outraged that the media makes him look like he is the bad guy due to his mischievous antics, but he is truly not. Overall, Peter Rabbit 2 is a memorable family comedy that will make people laugh.
